This is the first pairing event we are hosting in our new beautiful tasting room. We have a great menu planned with Emme's Catering and Versute and Vintage. This event is a four course dinner paired with specialty meads and cocktails made with a liquor produced from distilling our Orange Blossom mead.
First Course: Ginger-Lemongrass Miso Soup-Something Something Sour Mead will be used to saute the onions and ginger before incorporating white miso, lemongrass and enoki mushrooms. We will garnish with lemongrass and avocado. Will be paired with a Mint, Lime, and Ginger cocktail and Lemongrass and Ginger mead.
Second course: Rosemary-Citrus Game Hen Orange Blossom Mead will be used to Brine the free range all natural Game Hen before it is stuffed with grapefruit, lemons and Thyme. We will serve atop a long grain wild rice and garnish with a sprig of fresh Thyme. Will be paired with a Lemon Fig cocktail frothed with egg whites and a Sweet Fig mead.
Third course: Tri Tip with Bourbon infused Duchess Potatoes-This Tri Tip will be marinated in Gruit Mead followed by a dry rub consisting of Peruvian espresso and fresh Rosemary served with Bourbon infused Duchess Potatoes. Will be paired with a Maple Bacon cocktail and a earthy Chaga Mushroom and Herbed mead.
Fourth Course: Salted Chocolate and Meyers Lemon Tart-Orange Blossom mead is used to create the perfect lemon curd which tops a 100% Rainforest Cacao Organic Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt. Will be paired with a Meyer Lemon cello and Creamsicle mead.
Event starts at 6PM, but we will serve our first course promptly at 7PM
